Presentation of the project
The project BIM is aimed at students and young graduates and is tailored to help them navigate the job market after their international experience.
Indeed, while international mobility is becoming an increasingly common part of young people’s academic careers in Europe, there remains a gap in support when it comes to translating this experience into professional value. Many students and graduates struggle to effectively communicate the skills they’ve acquired abroad, and employers may not fully recognise the benefits of international mobility.
This mismatch between how students perceive their international experience and how it’s valued by employers is often due to lingering stereotypes. As a result, the potential career boost of international mobility may be under-utilised in early job searches.
The “Boost Your International Mobility” project aims to bridge this gap by helping students and graduates understand and showcase the full range of skills they develop through their international experiences, both personally and professionally.
